  • Responsible for defining requirements, business modeling, data modeling, and analysis of solution alternatives for the Time Reporting project at the California Department of Fish and Game. Conducted user interviews and developed UML Activity Diagrams, High-Level Context Diagrams, Use Case Map Diagram, and Use Case narratives. Investigated available systems at other state agencies, commercial time management applications, workflow products, and form management products that could be used as the basis for the time reporting system for 2,200 employees of the Department.

Senior Software Engineer, Powerschool, Inc. (Division of Apple) Folsom, California. 2001 - 2002

  • Senior member of the technical team on the Scheduler team. Responsible for integrating Nordex school scheduling engine with the Powerschool Student Information System (SIS). Designed and developed data exchange infrastructure between the SIS and the engine. Wrote over 30 data export and import programs. Implemented validation and optimization functionality.     • Developed a Java-based client application to access LDAP-based Netscape Directory Server.

    • Ported IMS (Interface Management System) and IMSWeb from AIX to Solaris.
