Renée Taylor Consulting, Inc., specializes in strategic planning for information systems, business management consulting, Oracle systems development, e-business, database and process redesign. We teach dozens of training classes and workshops to the State of California and Oracle clients each year in our areas of expertise, including:
RTC offers world-class consulting and training, assistance with IT vendor procurement cycles, project management and technical writing. Our focus lies in business process modeling and reengineering, and integrated data modeling and database design, as well as custom application programming. We concentrate on the transfer of technology and skill to your own systems staff. We are available to help you design and develop custom training programs and skill assessments for your staff as you migrate to new systems; we can also help to coordinate the change process.
About Our Consultants
Since its inception in 1996, RTC has grown to include more than 20 principal consultants who have held senior positions in companies such as Oracle Corporation, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard. Together we have published numerous white papers and written the popular books, Rapid Development with Oracle CASE, and Rapid Application Development with Oracle Designer, published by Addison Wesley in 1993 and 1996.
Our senior consultants each hold over 15 years’ experience in data and process modeling, systems design, and programming. We possess broad experience in the development of systems in a variety of industries, and have a strong reputation for delivering high quality systems.
RTC has established a tradition of quality service to our clients, modeling and designing systems for clients nationwide, and in countries from Europe to Russia and the Middle East.
Since incorporating in 1997, Renée Taylor Consulting has performed a number of projects for the State of California, Oracle University, and other clients. Our contracts with the State for fiscal years 2000-2004 totaled over $4 million. Our annual revenues from 2000-2004 exceeded $6 million.
About Renée Taylor
Renée Taylor, who founded the company, is a consultant, lecturer and trainer in the areas of business systems analysis, IT strategy, data modeling, process reengineering, and Oracle Designer. She joined Oracle UK in 1987 as a senior modeling instructor, and moved to Oracle’s headquarters in 1989 as Oracle’s first product manager for its full life-cycle systems development method, Oracle Custom Development Method. From 1990 to 1993, she served as product director for Oracle’s modeling and generation tool, Designer (formerly Designer/2000). From 1993 to 1996 Renée served as the director of consulting, training, and marketing for Oracle Russia and the former Soviet region. Renée now consults for clients as a project management advisor, instructor, quality assurance specialist, and IT strategist.
